The Greyhound is a classic country pub, steeped in history and tradition. Set in an attractive rural location in the village of Stockbridge, it is perfectly positioned for the country sports that the region is well-known for, especially the fishing on the renowned River Test.
The identity for such a venerable old establishment needs to tread a carefully considered line between new and old, modern and traditional. The heritage and age of the building must not be ignored, nor the familiar, time-honoured visual language of pub signage. We balanced this with an understanding of the range of customers and the personality of the brand as a whole to deliver a logo that effectively communicated the character and qualities of the pub.
